September is half over

This just makes me hungry.

rain and more rain

It has rained and thundered everyday since the family went to Missouri. One day the rain was so heavy and steady for hours that I thought it would get into the house. But it didn't.
Each day it gets a little hotter. It will be a steam bath when they come home.
The oil is spreading east and some have come on our beaches.

Humid and cloudy

There has been a chance of rain, or rain for the past 4 days. It didn't rain yesterday inspite of clouds, thunder and lightening.
I think I will go water the gardens today even though they are saying rain for this afternoon.

Hot it is

And humid to boot. But its already May so the cool weather did last a nice amount of time.
We had couple of days of rain and now it looks like a week of sunshine.
This was our last cloudy day, Monday Morning.

Christmas is over

The tree came down yesterday and everything is back in the box.
It rained Up untill Christmas day and then we got a break but the rain is coming back tonight. That tree is across the street, I took the picture a few weeks ago. The tree is bare now.
Everyone in the house has been coughing and sniffling.
It has been chilly at night but nice during the day. Not a breeze is blowing today.

Rain rain and more rain

It rained heavy for two days and nights with some thunder and lightening thrown in. Everything is soaked. Today we had about 2 seconds of sunlight, otherwise it has been cloudy and drizzly.
Tomorrow we are due storms and Tuesday more rain.
I guess it's time to start building that big boat...
